Registration will begin on Saturday, April 5th, 2008.

Bloomingdale Golf Club will be offering a summer Junior Golf Program, taught by our PGA golf professional staff, to all interested boys and girls. The program will be structured around, basic fundamentals of the golf swing, rules and etiquette of the game, safety, and fun contests. Our objective is to provide juniors a good start to a game that
can be played and enjoyed for a lifetime.

Youngsters between the ages of 6 and 16 are eligible to participate. Each class must have a minimum of 4 and will not exceed 12 students. All students must have a set of golf clubs. If there is a need for equipment, please inform the golf shop and we will attempt to provide some clubs. Juniors need to wear proper attire and footwear. Golf shoes or
tennis shoes are suggested. Please, no flip-flops or sandals. This is a very good starting point for learning proper golf etiquette.

Registration will begin on April 5th, 2008. You may do so by coming into the golf shop or by filling out the registration form and sending it in. Registration forms will be made available on-line beginning April 1st.

If your junior golfer is in need of golf clubs, we offer Nike and Tour Edge equipment. Our PGA professional will be happy to assist you in finding the correct club(s), set and size. For juniors participating in the program, your purchase will be discounted 20% off the list price!

Four sessions are offered with a choice of 4 groups. When registering, select the session you wish your youngster to participate in and then the age group.

Days of inclement weather, please contact the golf shop at 630-529-6232 to find out if program was cancelled. Rain dates have been set aside for cancellations.

ADVANCED JUNIORS

An additional group choice (BLACK) is available for juniors between the ages of 13 and 16 that have participated in a structured junior golf program a minimum of two years, have knowledge of rules and etiquette, demonstrate playing ability and received approval from the PGA professional. This class will focus on accelerated instruction and individual swing improvements. Contact the golf shop and speak to the PGA professional to determine if you are eligible.
