Come
see what you have been missing! The practice facility has been
a wonderful addition to the already beautiful Bloomingdale Golf
Club. As we say, “practice makes perfect”, and where else can
you go to fine-tune your golf game. Whether it's the short game
or hitting that long, straight tee shot, we offer the perfect
place to work out the kinks!
The
practice range has the flexibility to be used from grass or
mats. With a length of 300 yards from the back tee area, well-bunkered
greens are located at various yardages to allow golfers to
practice their distance and accuracy. Depending on tee location,
the practice range can accommodate 12-14 golfers comfortably
at any one-time.
Additionally,
we offer a newly installed 3200 square-foot putting/chipping
green and sand bunker located adjacent to the hitting area.
The
practice range opens 15 minutes before the first tee time (except
Mondays – Noon) and closes 30 before sunset. On Sunday evenings,
the range closes 1 hour and 30 minutes before sunset for maintenance.
The
fee for a basket of range balls is $4.00 (we offer only one
size). A token for the golf ball dispenser can be purchased
in the pro shop. Each bucket holds approximately 35 golf balls.
If you are a die-hard when it comes to practicing your game,
consider purchasing a debt key. This key works like a debt
card. Once purchased, there is no need to go to the golf shop.
When the debit key has been depleted, one can re-purchase more
range balls on that same key or return it into the golf shop
for a $2.00 refund.

 6-Hole Junior Course
Incorporated within the practice
range is a 6-hole junior course with holes that vary in length
from 45 to 90 yards. These holes are ideal for both juniors
and beginning golfers wanting to get started in the game, and
experienced golfers wanting to fine-tune their short game. Current Dates Available are:
Monday June, 16th – 10 am to 2:30 pm.
Monday June 30th – 10 am to 2:30 pm.
Monday July, 7th – 10 am to 2:30 pm.
Monday July, 14th – 10 am to 2:30 pm.
Monday July, 28th – 10 am to 2:30 pm.
Monday August, 4th – 10 am to 2:30 pm.
These dates are subject to change. Please call ahead to be certain the course will be available. The fee for using the short course is $5.00 per player
and tee times may be made one week in advance. |
