Bloomingdale Golf Club implements the following rain policy when the weather effects play.
Conditions and Guidelines:
A rain credit will only be issued after a one-hour delay in play has occurred. Every effort will be made to resume play on the golf course. However, after one hour has passed from the time play has been suspended, a rain credit may be issued to be used toward the cost of future play.
Credits will be good for 1 year from the issued date. After 1 year, they will be voided.
A Rain Credit will be issued based on the following criteria:
For golfers who paid for 18 holes of golf :
- 100% Rain Credit issued for less than 4 holes played.
- 50% Rain credit issued for 4-14 holes played.
- No Rain credit issued for 15 or more holes played.
For golfers who paid for 9 holes of golf:
- 100% Rain Credit issued for less than 4 holes played.
- No Rain Credit issued for 4 or more holes played.
For golfers who paid for the 5:30PM Special
- No Rain credit issued. (Note: It will be at the discretion of the Golf Professional or golf shop manager with whether or not a rain credit will be issued – based on unforeseen circumstances)
A receipt must be provide to the pro shop associate in order to receive a rain credit.
The starters and player assistants will provide the pro shop with the tee times and player locations on the course at the time play was suspended. This information will be used in determining the appropriate credit.
NOTE: Golfers that have paid for golf, but have not begun play, are entitled to a cash or credit card refund.
